About The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) is an integral member of the finance organization with key deliverables that provide frequent exposure to the Worldwide Express leadership team. The SFA is responsible for direct ownership of financial modeling, financial reporting, executive presentations and ad hoc analysis to support Worldwide Express’s various markets and lines of businesses (LoB). The role will consist of accountabilities in financial analysis, financial reporting, operational metric management, and BI strategy.

Requirements

• Extensive experience understanding complex financial terms, theory, and practical application.
• Demonstrated experience in financial modeling (integrated income statement)
• Demonstrated excellence in building executive summaries, presentations, and extracting actionable insights from data
• Demonstrated success in effectively communication and presenting information to senior leadership as well as the external stakeholders
• High level of experience of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
• Experience with Financial ERP systems (Hyperion, SAP, Great Plains, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual operating plan (budget) and monthly reforecast for Revenue, Margin, and Op Ex.
• Continuously improve financial model structure and capabilities to support operating plan and forecasting process by operating market and LoB.
• Develop multi-year forecast for Worldwide Express through understanding key business drivers, industry trends, and cross-functional partnership with various business leaders.
• Monitor progress and present operational metrics both internally and externally.
• Support the month-end close process: BOD financial package, variance research/explanation, actualizing models, and various reporting dashboards (Flash).
• Assist in pro-forma financial statements and EBITA adjustments of acquired markets.
• Utilize financials systems (Hyperon, Great Plains) to load forecast, extract data, and structure financial statements.
• Partner with business leaders on operational and strategic issues as they arise; provide strategic recommendations to VP and Director based on financial analysis, forecasting projections, and revenue/expense analysis.
• Engage cross functional teams to align financial management with short- and long-term financial planning and projections.
• Partner with Business Intelligence teams in terms of analysis of additional revenue generators, customer patterns, cost mitigation strategies, etc.
• Assist in the preparation of executive presentations, including Monthly Financial Reviews, CEO presentations, Board of Directors (Worldwide Express and Equity Partners) materials and other presentations for key stakeholders.
• Prepare insightful presentations for senior management to concisely summarize performance targets and progress toward initiatives by individual business markets and LOB
• Other duties as assigned.
