The Senior Financial Analyst for the Office of Criminal Justice Services (OCJS) applies advanced knowledge of accounting systems & procedures to research & analyze complex financial data, resolve discrepancies, & administer the fiscal aspects of grants while providing guidance & training as a lead worker; Research & analyze complex information using critical thinking to resolve errors &/or modify data by administering the fiscal aspect of one or more statewide criminal justice grants (i.e., Department of Justice grants, State of Ohio General Revenue Fund grants, etc.); Monitor grant compliance & provide technical assistance to state & local agencies & Executive Director regarding grant-related issues; Conduct on-site fiscal monitoring to ensure compliance with applicable federal & state statutes, regulations, grant requirements, including uniform administrative requirements & cost principles for federal & state grants; Assess internal controls developed & implemented by the sub-grantee to demonstrate compliance with applicable requirements, including organizational operations, policies, procedures, financial reports, & recordkeeping.
