Within the IM R&D Finance organization, the Financial Planning & Analysis and Business Operations team serves as the Global Center of Excellence for financial expertise. Reporting to the Global FP&A Finance Manager, this role will be responsible for leading global consolidations, supporting planning and actuals processes, and driving enhanced reporting and analytics. This position will have broad exposure to the IM R&D Finance Leadership Team and global finance partners. The Senior Analyst will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, supporting strategic initiatives, and enabling operational improvements.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree required (Finance, Accounting, Economics preferred).
  • A minimum 3 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or related business is required.
  • Experience in FP&A processes, consolidations, and reporting required.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets; experience with visualization tools is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills with ability to interpret complex data and deliver actionable insights are required.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills for senior leadership presentations are required.
  • Ability to lead multiple priorities with agility in a dynamic environment is required.
  • Proactive approach with focus on improvement in execution and digital enablement is required.
  • Strong collaboration skills to establish links across global teams and functions are required.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with financial systems (Anaplan, CFIN, Tableau preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Lead Global Consolidations for Actuals and Plan periods, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all major updates.
  • Prepare and deliver quarterly close communications, consolidate Latest Thinking inputs, and lead management reviews including C+2 and C+4 Close reviews.
  • Develop and present executive-level reporting packages (GBO, Site Analysis/MNI, Responsibility View) for Finance Review, Tax, and FLT meetings.
  • Coordinate Target Transfer file process and lead review meetings with senior leadership during planning cycles.
  • Confirm and reconcile reporting across systems (SAP Beacon, Vital/CFIN) and ensure alignment with internal guidance, with a focus on accountable function and functional area reporting.
  • Drive enhanced reporting and analytics, including automation and visualization to improve clarity and decision-making.
  • Support operational improvement initiatives (VOC sessions, workshops) to streamline FP&A, systems, and reporting efforts.
  • Partner with CFIN and EPM teams on SigniFi workstreams, ensuring data integrity and standardization across platforms.
  • Monitor and support system changes and reporting process updates to enable smooth integration and digital advancement.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to FLDPs during their rotation, ensuring successful development and workload management.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and workstreams as assigned.
