Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A (Must live in the Seattle Metro area) We have an opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst, Sales FP&A to join our Sales FP&A team in Tacoma, WA, reporting to Senior Manager, Finance. In this pivotal role, you will partner with senior leaders in Channels and Security to own end-to-end planning, forecasting, quota setting, and incentive tracking while driving performance measurement and operational rigor. The location for this role is the Seattle Metro area with a flexible hybrid schedule. (Must live in the Greater Seattle Metro area).

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of progressive FP&A experience with meaningful Sales FP&A or commercial finance exposure supporting GTM leaders
  • Ability to independently build an annual plan and monthly forecasts for a complex scope (people and programs), tied to strategy and targets
  • Expertise in sales planning: quota methodology, coverage/capacity modeling, productivity ramps, linearity, and incentive design/tracking
  • Advanced Excel skills for modeling and scenario analysis; comfort with large datasets and joining disparate sources
  • Hands‑on proficiency with Adaptive Planning, custom report writing, and OfficeConnect; understanding of database/reporting structures
  • Working knowledge of accounting concepts relevant to Sales FP&A (e.g., commissions accruals, ASC606 timing impacts)
  • Clear, concise storytelling; anticipate questions, present options with trade‑offs, and convert insight to action with urgency
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Responsibilities

  • Own annual plan and monthly forecasts for Channels and Security, including an operating budget of approximately $40M across ~110 headcount; integrate hiring, compensation, programs, T&E, allocations, and other opex
  • Run the sales quota‑setting process end‑to‑end with Sales Leadership and RevOps; model coverage, productivity, territory dynamics; drive alignment from draft through final signoff
  • Build and maintain commissions tracking and reporting, including attainment, accrual visibility, and exception handling; clarify incentive cost‑to‑growth and ROI
  • Set OKRs for Channels and Security and measure progress; define leading and lagging KPIs and build dashboards to drive accountability and course‑correction.
  • Lead BVA reviews and operating cadence with business partners; highlight drivers, “so what’s,” and action plans; anticipate follow‑on questions and prepare scenarios
  • Develop financial models across bookings/revenue/COGS and opex/headcount; connect operational drivers to financial outcomes; pressure‑test assumptions
  • Perform ad hoc analysis to support strategic choices (e.g., channel program ROI, security pipeline‑to‑ARR conversion, productivity and coverage, incentive elasticity)
  • Improve planning/reporting in Workday Adaptive Planning and OfficeConnect; automate recurring reporting and align data definitions and sources
