About The Position

We’re looking for a strategic, hands‑on Senior Finance Manager to partner closely with the manufacturing leadership teams across four production facilities. In this role, you’ll serve as the primary financial steward for operations, ensuring strong cost discipline, accurate reporting, and forward‑looking insights that help drive performance. You’ll also lead and develop a team of four finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and enjoys rolling up their sleeves to understand the business from the shop floor to operations leadership. Our company designs and manufactures high‑quality windows and doors, and your work will directly support the teams that bring those products to life. This job is located in Warroad, MN. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred.
  • 7–10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 4 years supporting manufacturing operations.
  • Experience leading and developing a team.
  • Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory accounting, and manufacturing financial processes.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, Power BI, and advanced Excel skills; experience with manufacturing ERP platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead finance partner for four manufacturing facilities, providing clear, actionable insights to plant managers and operations leaders.
  • Lead the monthly operations performance review, including cost per unit reporting, variance analysis, and inventory review reporting.
  • Drive annual budgeting and periodic forecasting for all supported facilities.
  • Support capital planning, investment analysis, and post‑implementation reviews for manufacturing projects.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four direct reports, ensuring strong performance, engagement, and professional growth.
  • Establish clear priorities, workflows, and development plans for the team.
  • Promote a collaborative, high‑accountability culture within the finance function and across operations.
  • Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering teams to improve cost visibility and operational efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing, waste reduction, and productivity enhancements.
  • Strengthen internal controls related to inventory, production reporting, and financial processes.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
