The Cloud Infra and Supply Execution (CISE) finance team is an exciting and fast-evolving finance team at the forefront of Microsoft’s Cloud-first strategy. The CISE finance team is responsible for supporting delivering cloud capacity at the right time, right place and right cost. We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager - Data Center Innovation and Strategy to support financial planning and controllership for Datacenter Design and Office of CO+I CTO. Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
  • OR equivalent experience

  • Ability to collaborate and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, influencing across multiple complex organization, and creating effecting partnerships. Ability to achieve results through both individual and cross team efforts, to manage multiple projects at the same time, and to work effectively under deadline constraints

  • Expertise in financial planning and analysis, including: analysis, forecasting, planning, reporting, and developing financial models.
  • Written and verbal communications translating financial analysis and insights into meaningful and actionable business communications and recommendations Advanced Excel and Office skills

Responsibilities

  • The role requires a high degree of agility and skill in navigating multiple stakeholder requirements while enabling accelerated growth aspirations for the business in a highly competitive market environment. To be successful, the individual needs to be highly collaborative, self-motivated, and curious in learning.
  • Support monthly/quarterly processes around close, forecasting, budget, and long-range planning functions across Datacenter Finance team and orchestrate more broadly across the finance organization
  • Support capital approval processes to support our growing Cloud business Partner with engineering leaders on DC design, costing, value engineering and capital investments needed
