Requirements

  • Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, or a related field, and 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation
  • Requires 5 years of experience involving the following:
  • Financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including profit and loss (P&L) management
  • Development of communication materials tailored for audiences at varying organizational levels
  • FP&A leadership in cloud infrastructure
  • End-to-end supply chain process management
  • Sourcing process execution, including RFI, RFQ, and RFP procedures

Responsibilities

  • Support FP&A activities for the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for Data Centers.
  • Drive strategy to determine long-term supply of data center capacity to meet variable demand
  • decide optimum level of optionality/buffer capacity in supply to minimize probability of supply-being-short-of-demand while balancing costs.
  • Collaborate to break down data center development in different stages (referred to as funnel) and to determine buffer capacity/capex in each of the stages to reduce lead times to supply while minimizing cost.
  • Lead Total-Cost-of-Ownership (TCO) and NPV modelling of new data center build and leases informing deal negotiations.
  • Drive modelling of data center staffing connecting capacity to headcount, partner with business to drive staffing efficiencies.
  • Lead modelling of energy interconnection agreements helping Energy team negotiate Meta’s obligations to utilities.
  • Drive write-ups about new strategic plans for Data Center Supply to Finance leadership to enable decision making.
  • Perform analyses to provide ad hoc decision support, such as evaluating implications of growth strategies, identifying efficiency improvements, and more.
  • Develop and maintain complex high visibility financial models that drive infrastructure investments for a 5-10 year timeframe.
  • Partner with controllership organization during monthly and quarterly close processes and support production of key reports and disclosures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams - Tax, Accounting, Treasury, Procurement, and Business Development to provide end-to-end financial support.
  • Provide hands-on analytical support and develop actionable insights throughout the rhythm of business reporting, including close, forecast, target setting, budget, and Long Range Planning.
  • Own ad hoc and operational projects as required.
  • Drive process improvements by partnering with up-stream process owners and enhance current tools/systems related to financial management.
