About The Position

The Oracle Finance Functional Consultant will be a primary functional expert responsible for the configuration, validation, and optimization of the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Financials modules. This role is critical for the company-wide Oracle migration, focusing on configuring systems to accurately reflect accounting policies and compliance standards across General Ledger, Account Payables Account Receivables, Intercompany, Fixed Assets, Leasing, and Project Costing.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience as a Consultant, specifically supporting financial ERP systems.
  • 5+ years of hands-on, end-to-end implementation and configuration experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials , focusing on the General Ledger, Account Payables Account Receivables, Intercompany, Fixed Assets, Leasing, and Project Costing.
  • Deep functional understanding of core accounting principles.
  • Proven ability to create/translate detailed functional design documents and author system configuration from design through deployment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an organization transitioning to Oracle Cloud Ecosystem.
  • Hands-on experience with other Oracle EPM modules like EDMCS, FCCS and ARCS.
  • Third-party supporting software experience like Avalara, Kyriba, Zip, etc.
  • Exposure to the Data Center Infrastructure industry
  • Relevant professional product/functional certifications (e.g., CPA, PMP, Oracle Cloud certifications)
  • Working knowledge of various AI Agents within Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications

Responsibilities

  • Financial Module Ownership: Define and own the functional configuration roadmap for key financial modules, including General Ledger, Account Payables Account Receivables, Intercompany, Fixed Assets, Leasing, and Project Costing .
  • Compliance and System Configuration: Directly design and configure Oracle Fusion to ensure enforcement of critical financial compliance standards (e.g., ASC 606/IFRS 15, SOX).
  • Reporting Design: Define and develop robust financial reports and dashboards that meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders using Oracle Fusion reporting tools (e.g., OTBI, FRS, Smartview).
  • Implementation & Data Migration: Lead the configuration, unit testing, and cutover activities for financial modules, including defining the strategy and execution for data conversion of critical master and transactional data (e.g., customers, open invoices).
  • Process Alignment: Partner with Finance Business Users and Business Systems Analysts to ensure system configurations align with corporate policy and drive process efficiency.
