Job Description
If you really enjoy the world of EDI and data integrations, this is the job for you! We are searching for an individual to help support the operation of the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) service we provide for our national client base using our go-forward EDI solution, Aptean EDI One. This will include working with our clients and their trading partners to configure and test new trading partner relationships as well as support existing trading partner relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in IT related study area or equivalent experience
• Strong working knowledge of the ERP and EDI lifecycle, including partner engagement, testing, implementation, and troubleshooting
• Technical background with experience in EDI standards, protocols, and/or data mapping tools
• Ability to assist end customers with planning, designing, and implementing their Aptean EDI solution

Nice To Haves

• 5 to 7 years EDI experience
• Experience with X12 EDI documents preferably 810, 832, 850, 855, 856, 860, 875, and 880
• Experience with non-standard EDI formats delimited, fixed-width, and XML files
• Experience with FTP, SFTP, and FTPS

Responsibilities

• Conduct EDI document testing, partnering with internal and external teams to ensure successful EDI document integration for all trade partners in scope
• Create and present development requirements, as well as determine technical feasibility in the design phase; work with customers to determine business needs and design solutions
• Investigate and resolve EDI-related issues to minimize disruptions to business operations
• Submit project proposals and discuss with clients
• Create data mapping documents per trading partner specifications
• Manage multiple project initiatives and manage schedule
• Answer customer questions regarding functionality and proper usage of the Aptean EDI One
