Working within the HR Services Team, supporting UK and International colleagues. Providing timely and accurate administration and coordinated transactional support throughout the employee lifecycle. Providing a full HR admin service to employees, acting as a first point of HR enquiries and supports projects and initiatives as required. This role is critical for driving performance insights, supporting leadership decisions, and maintaining robust governance across diverse geographies. This role will be based in Houston Texas but supporting both our Canada and Puerto Rico business operations for Mace.

Requirements

  • CPA designation preferred.
  • Minimum 8+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI for data visualization and reporting-a must
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle experience highly desirable).
  • Expertise in IFRS and GAAP compliance.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting and Compliance
  • Month-end financial reporting for multiple countries.
  • Preparing financial statements, summaries, cost-benefit analyses, and management reports.
  • Implementing financial and accounting best practices to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Managing end-to-end audit processes and act as the primary contact for external auditors.
  • Maintaining accurate filing and record-keeping systems for all financial statements and company documents.
  • Planning and Analysis
  • Managing budgeting and forecasting across multiple countries.
  • Summarizing budget trends, analyze deficiencies, and report variances to executives.
  • Analyzing revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets to optimize profitability and transparency.
  • Notifying and report to senior management concerning any trends critical to financial performance.
  • Operational Finance
  • Preparing and post monthly accruals, prepayments, and similar accounting entries.
  • Managing working capital and produce cash flow forecasts.
  • Reviewing and process payments to clients, vendors, and business partners.
  • Posting and reconcile payroll; run revaluations and reconcile forex differences.
  • Liaising with Project Managers on missing invoices and revenue forecasts; follow up on overdue debt.
  • Coordinating with legal representatives for signatures and local compliance requirements.
  • Leadership and Team Development
  • Hiring, onboarding, training, supervising, coaching, and assessing finance team members.
  • Providing performance feedback and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Cost Control and Governance
  • Managing and controlling overhead spend against budget.
  • Ensuring robust internal controls and adherence to audit requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Presenting monthly and quarterly financial analysis and findings to the Senior leaders.
  • Partnering with leadership to drive strategic initiatives.
