About The Position

About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Sr. Finance Analyst, to support Consumer Technology. This role will be responsible for partnering with the CIO and CFO organizations supporting Consumer Banking & Lending Business. This visible role will have ownership and accountability for specific financial management activities across Consumer Technology including financial planning and analysis, reporting, workforce management, and vendor management. Strong technical abilities with knowledge of financial systems/related process workflows and the ability to simplify/analyze large data sets in order to tell the story behind the financials will be critical for this role. Additionally, this role will require leadership and the ability to partner with other colleagues in Technology and peer organizations. In this role, you will: Coordinate and oversee month-end financial close including forecasting, reporting, and analysis of financials at detailed cost center and account level Support all financial processes and reporting including actuals, budget, forecast of various financial and headcount metrics and scenarios/views including general ledger, taxonomy, application, and business case financials Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to senior management on a frequent basis Build relationships and partner closely with all Wells Fargo Technology leaders as well as partners across the Corporate Finance and Business Finance organizations Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and timeliness in all financial reporting and presentations

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Experience supporting Consumer Technology or Technology Finance is preferred
  • Strong financial analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience assessing and analyzing large data sets and transforming into actionable insights
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), advanced Excel skills are preferred
  • Ability to understand core technology concepts and common software development practices (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) to effectively translate business and financial requirements into clear practical guidance for technological teams
  • Familiarity with enterprise planning systems (e.g., Anaplan, Oracle Hyperion Essbase), data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and emerging AI technologies
  • Excellent verbal, written, communication skills
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes amid ambiguity, and develop alternative solutions
  • Proactive, self-motivated professional who takes initiative beyond immediate responsibilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
