JOB SUMMARY Reporting to the Director of Administration and Finance, the Sr Finance Administrator acts as a key member of the Dean’s Office financial staff and serves as a point of contact for all matters related to financial transactions and reconciliations, accounting policies, and department discretionary budgets at the College of Social Sciences and Humanities (CSSH). Responsibilities include managing the daily transactions of the College’s budget including verifying and processing expense reimbursements, ensuring compliance with University and College policies, executing journal vouchers and reconciling departmental budgets, developing and maintaining financial reports and processing Dean’s Office financial commitments. This role is also responsible for managing the College’s computer replacement cycle and making purchases on behalf of the Dean’s Office. Serve as a liaison to department administrators on operational financial issues. The Sr Finance Administrator also performs ad hoc financial analyses, reports, and other general tasks to support the Dean’s Office as needed. The College of Social Sciences and Humanities (CSSH) combines Northeastern University’s signature approach to experiential learning with liberal arts education, interdisciplinary research, and community engagement, both locally and globally. The College comprises 20 academic units, including two schools, eight departments, and ten interdisciplinary programs, as well as 15 research centers and institutes.
