This position will include a company vehicle and all tools and test equipment required to do the job. The Sr. Field Service Technician is responsible for post-sale installation, optimization, maintenance and management of highly technical communication systems. Focus on maintaining optimal performance levels across an integrated system while taking a pro-active approach to system level alarms/errors. Perform system hardware and software installation and optimization including advanced troubleshooting skills. Manage system availability through routine system maintenance and performance monitoring. Perform preventative maintenance routines to ensure proper system operation with focus on trend analysis and documentation of results. Develop solutions to difficult technical problems encountered as part of system implementation, upgrades or support issues. Total familiarity with the latest technologies and troubleshooting techniques in transport, communications and RF systems. Team with System Manager, Engineering, Project Management, Sales, System Technologists and our Service Partners to effectively design, implement, optimize and cut-over advanced communication systems which meet or exceed customer expectations.
