About The Position

DebtBook is an industry-leading fintech software platform that revolutionizes the way local government, higher education, and healthcare finance teams work. Our powerful, cloud-based software helps these organizations manage all aspects of their debt, cash, leases, and subscriptions, streamline financial reporting, and share information simply with others. We are passionate about modernizing treasury management and simplifying accounting compliance in the public sector, allowing organizations to break through operational barriers to unlock strategic insights. As the Senior Field Marketing Manager, you will define and lead DebtBook’s field and event marketing strategy, owning events as a primary driver of marketing pipeline and revenue impact.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own DebtBook’s field marketing and events strategy, positioning events as a core, scalable pipeline channel
  • Define how DebtBook shows up at industry conferences, hosted events, roadshows, and executive programs — from audience targeting to messaging to experience
  • Partner closely with Sales leadership, ensuring tight coordination before, during, and after events to maximize pipeline creation and acceleration
  • Establish clear ROI frameworks for events, including pipeline attribution, influenced revenue, and post-event conversion metrics
  • Partner with Sales to build repeatable pre-event and post-event motions (target account outreach, meeting scheduling, follow-up campaigns, and pipeline progression)
  • Oversee execution of events in collaboration with an events coordinator and external vendors, providing strategic direction rather than owning logistics day-to-day
  • Identify new field marketing opportunities beyond traditional conferences, such as executive dinners, regional meetups, customer events, and partner-led programs
  • Collaborate closely with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Content Marketing to ensure consistent messaging and integrated campaign execution
  • Manage field marketing budgets, sponsorship decisions, and vendor relationships to maximize impact and efficiency
  • Track, analyze, and report on field marketing performance, continuously refining strategy based on data and sales feedback

Benefits

  • Competitive salaries plus equity (stock options) for all employees;
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with 4% employer match;
  • Flexible work schedules and generous leave policies (including unlimited PTO);
  • Professional development opportunities and tuition reimbursement;
  • Family and wellness perks;
  • In-person social events;
  • Top-of-the-line equipment, and a newly furnished office.
