Role Summary As the Senior Executive Technology Specialist, you are the dedicated, high-touch technical partner for Okta’s most senior leaders. Your mission is to ensure that Todd, Tanya, and Jessica experience zero-friction technology operations across every facet of their professional lives—from the devices in their hands to the AI tools powering their workflows. Reporting to the Executive Support Manager, you will provide end-to-end ownership of the technology ecosystem within the Office of the CEO. You are not just a support resource; you are a proactive partner who integrates seamlessly into our premier escalation structure to ensure stability, predictability, and "always-on" reliability, even during high-stakes travel and critical business cycles. This role will have onsite requirements in our San Francisco office, as well as travel requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in technical support, with a minimum of 3 years specifically supporting C-Suite executives or high-profile leadership in a fast-paced technology environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of macOS, iOS, and mobile device management (MDM), along with deep expertise in Zoom, A/V hardware, and complex networking environments.
  • Executive Presence: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure. You understand the nuances of working in the Office of the CEO and maintain the highest level of discretion.
  • Operational Excellence: A disciplined approach to proactive maintenance, documentation, and follow-through. You are known for your "high-touch" service and your ability to make technology invisible to the user.
  • Adaptability & Reliability: Flexibility to provide "always-on" support during critical business cycles and the ability to travel as needed to support the executive team on the road.

Responsibilities

  • Executive Workflow Ownership: You will take full accountability for the end-to-end technical experience of the CEO’s office, ensuring that hardware, software, and connectivity work in harmony across office, home, and mobile environments.
  • Meeting Reliability & Room Readiness: You will own the "Success of the Session." This includes conducting rigorous pre-flight AV testing, managing complex hybrid meeting configurations, and providing real-time support for board meetings, earnings calls, and keynote presentations.
  • AI & Productivity Tools Support: Partnering with Productivity Engineering, you will deploy and optimize cutting-edge AI tools and agentic platforms specifically for executive use cases, helping to automate routine tasks and streamline high-level decision-making.
  • Access, Admin, & Security Workflows: You will manage the delicate balance of high security and low friction. This involves managing identity access, troubleshooting authentication hurdles, and ensuring the executive team operates within Okta’s security best practices without losing velocity.
  • Documentation & Runbooks: You will build the "Instruction Manual" for executive success. By creating detailed technical runbooks and travel-ready "Go-Kits," you ensure that support remains consistent and predictable regardless of location or time zone.
  • Proactive Monitoring & Coverage: You don't wait for a ticket. You will actively monitor systems, predict potential points of failure (especially during travel schedules), and provide a layer of coverage that makes technology issues invisible to the executive team.
