About The Position

As the Senior Manager of Executive Housekeeping, you will play a key role in shaping unforgettable guest experiences by leading and inspiring the housekeeping team. You’ll oversee operations with a focus on service excellence, team development, and efficiency, ensuring that every room and space reflects the world-class standards of MGM Resorts. From guiding daily performance and training to driving departmental goals and maintaining the highest level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction, this role gives you the opportunity to combine leadership, hospitality, and attention to detail to create an environment where both guests and team members thrive.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of prior relevant experience in the direction and management of employees in a similar hotel environment in the Housekeeping dept
  • Works varied shifts including holidays and weekends
  • An understanding of the legal ramifications and implications of various employee and guest actions, both in a bargaining and non‐bargaining unit environments highly preferred

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of prior relevant experience in hotel management preferred
  • Working knowledge of a yield management system preferred as well as technical understanding of a hotel property management system

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the department's guest service standards and initiatives, productivity standards, coaching the leadership team to optimize performance, and strategizing department wide solutions for guest experience issues
  • Provides input into the research, development, evaluation and implementation of new products, services, standards, technology and processes to ensure competitive position and in anticipation of changing customer needs within the complex hospitality and gaming environment
  • Assumes the responsibilities and duties of Director Housekeeping/EVS during his/her absence and days off
  • Lead multiple levels of experienced leaders in implementation and sustainability of policies, operating procedures and directives as part of the Collective Bargaining Agreement; maintain a work environment that promotes client service, teamwork, performance feedback, individual recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction ensuring quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that encompass the company’s diversity commitment
  • Responsible for leading significant improvement initiatives and processes to enhance performance for employees and leaders in the department
