Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, communications, public administration, or a related field (master's preferred)
  • 7–10 years of high‑level executive or administrative experience, ideally supporting senior leadership in a higher education or similarly complex environment
  • Sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-moving executive environment
  • Experience managing confidential information, coordinating executive operations, and supporting governance or board functions is strongly preferred
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, with the ability to prepare professional documents, presentations, and reports
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively across departments is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative, operational, and governance support to the President and Provost by managing executive calendars, communications, documentation, and briefing materials
  • Serve as a liaison between leadership and campus departments
  • Coordinate strategic initiatives across the institution
  • Support board and committee meetings through preparation of materials, recordkeeping, and compliance with governance requirements
  • Assist with budget oversight, including expense reconciliation, credit card reviews, purchase order processing, and monitoring expenditures tied to presidential initiatives
  • Play an active role in planning executive-level events, campus visits, and space reservations while maintaining a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and service excellence.
