About The Position

The Senior Events & CSU Spur Venue Manager owns the full lifecycle of inbound catering and private event bookings while overseeing day-to-day café operations at Little Finch CSU Spur. This role leads all reactive sales efforts, manages event intake and administration through TripleSeat, answers all catering and event phone inquiries, staffs all off-site and CSU Spur on-site events, and ensures accurate financial reconciliation across systems. This position blends hospitality-driven sales with hands-on venue leadership. The ideal candidate is highly organized, fast-paced, detail-oriented, and confident closing inbound leads while maintaining exceptional guest experiences on the café floor and during events. This role serves as the primary point of contact for CSU Spur partners during catering and beverage activations and plays a key leadership role in staffing, culture, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in catering/event booking, restaurant events, hotel events, or hospitality sales support
  • Demonstrated TripleSeat experience (required)
  • Strong written communication skills (email proposals, confirmations, client follow-up)
  • High attention to detail with ability to manage multiple bookings simultaneously
  • Comfort with reactive selling and closing inbound leads
  • Highly organized, fast-paced, and detail-oriented
  • Strong prioritization and sense of urgency during peak booking periods
  • Confident communicator with warm hospitality presence
  • Excellent follow-up discipline
  • Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative mindset with culinary and operations partners
  • Must be able to pass a federal background check.

  • Experience with high-volume catering production
  • Familiarity with BEOs, deposits, minimums, and banquet-style operations
