About The Position

The Senior Event Activation Manager is responsible for leading Event activation planning efforts for Rockstar Energy Drink. This role combines brand strategy and experiential marketing, overseeing initiatives from concept through execution. This individual will work in the Rockstar Energy Drink Southern California offices, ensuring all work aligns with brand objectives and is delivered on time and within budget. The role manages day-to-day account operations and applies expertise in youth marketing, partnerships, and live activations to drive program success. Senior Event Activation Managers move swiftly on client requests, presenting information with the right balance of detail and clarity. They apply past experience and key insights to guide decisions, problem-solve effectively, and navigate challenges with clear communication and actionable next steps. They confidently lead internal teams and present to senior client groups. They will serve as a resource to their team. This role demands a deep understanding of Fuse’s operations and a strong ability to work independently while inspiring others to follow their lead.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Event Management, or related field
  • 4-6 years of experience in brand marketing, experiential marketing, or agency account management
  • Strong experience in both strategic program development and event execution
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multiple projects
  • Experience managing vendors, talent, and experiential activations
  • Strong communication and client management skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Mac OS, Microsoft Office, and project management tools

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Program Development & Execution
  • Develop Event activation strategies and experiential concepts aligned with brand objectives
  • Lead execution of experiential programs including events, sponsorship activations, and grassroots initiatives
  • Apply insights, youth trends, and past learnings to inform program development
  • Client & Account Management
  • Serve as primary point of contact, managing communication and expectations
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure alignment with brand strategy
  • Lead internal teams to deliver high-quality work across all programs
  • Budget & Project Management
  • Develop and manage program budgets, including tracking, reconciliation, and billing communication
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
  • Maintain accurate status reports and project documentation
  • Event & Activation Management
  • Oversee planning and execution of experiential programs, including timelines, staffing plans, and logistics
  • Lead onsite execution, including setup, staff coordination, and issue resolution
  • Ensure all activations meet brand standards and client expectations
  • Talent, Vendor & Partnership Management
  • Source and manage vendors
  • Oversee contract execution, insurance requirements, and partner communications
  • Ensure all partners align with program goals and brand standards
  • Reporting & Analysis
  • Oversee collection of program data, event metrics, and reporting deliverables
  • Develop client reports summarizing performance, insights, and ROI
  • Apply learnings to improve future programs
  • Operational Processes and Company-Wide Tasks
  • Adhere to Fuse operational processes including time tracking, budgeting systems, and reporting standards
  • Participate in internal meetings, training programs, and company initiatives
  • Maintain organization of program materials, assets, and documentation
  • Additional Responsibilities
  • Travel to client meetings and event activations as required
  • Support onsite event execution, including physical setup and breakdown
  • Other duties as assigned
