The Facilities Construction team at Micron Technology, Inc. is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality construction projects that support our advanced manufacturing operations. We work collaboratively across engineering disciplines and with external contractors to ensure projects meet stringent safety, quality, and operational standards The Senior Equipment Move Coordinator oversees loading, unloading, moving and setting of manufacturing tools, support equipment and Facilities equipment. Ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget. This role requires leadership in safety compliance, project planning, and contractor coordination while driving continuous improvement in quality, efficiency and safety

Requirements

  • Osha 10 Certified
  • Rigging Certified
  • 5+ years of experience in construction coordination, moving and rigging
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects and work independently
  • Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Teams and Power point

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years of experience in a semiconductor construction environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor others
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with root cause analysis experience
  • Knowledge of funding approval processes and cost estimation practices

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the safe moving and setting of equipment and manufacturing tools ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Oversee moving contractors and forklift drivers, communicate daily priorities, and resolve issues promptly
  • Apply project management methodologies to manage scope, schedule, and budget effectively
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, transport drivers, tool owners and tool reps on schedules, installation durations and safe methods of delivery
  • Analyze systems data to identify improvements, troubleshoot issues, and mitigate risks and produce reports for management
