About The Position

The Account Manager will own and grow relationships with a portfolio of banking, lending, and fintech partners, serving as a trusted advisor responsible for driving long-term customer success and measurable business outcomes. This role focuses on strengthening partnerships, identifying opportunities for expansion, and ensuring customers are fully leveraging the platform to achieve their strategic objectives. The role works cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams to deliver solutions that meet client needs, surface customer insights that help shape product direction, and contribute to building scalable account management processes as the organization continues to grow. The ideal candidate combines strong relationship-management capabilities with commercial ownership and thrives in fast-paced environments where they can help define how partnerships are managed at scale. Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in account management, customer success, or relationship management within fintech, financial services, SaaS, or enterprise technology
  • Experience managing complex client relationships with banks, lenders, fintechs, or other regulated financial institutions, with a strong understanding of how these organizations operate
  • A consultative partner who can build credibility quickly, understand customer priorities, and translate needs into actionable solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to retain and grow accounts through renewals, upsells, and strategic expansion opportunities while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • A builder mindset with a strong sense of ownership and bias for action - comfortable helping design processes, playbooks, and best practices as the organization scales
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator who works effectively to solve customer challenges
  • Highly organized, proactive, and motivated by solving problems end-to-end in fast-paced, evolving startup environments
  • Interest in financial services, compliance-driven environments, and emerging AI-powered technology platforms
  • Proactive problem-solver who has a track record of delivering value and active solutions to partners.
  • Deep curiosity about the intersection of finance and technology, and a passion for helping clients modernize legacy processes through innovation.
  • NYC based team, proximity to the office is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a portfolio of financial services customers, serving as the primary point of contact across the partnership lifecycle.
  • Build trusted relationships with executive, operational, and product stakeholders at banks, lenders, and fintech partners.
  • Drive retention and revenue growth by identifying expansion opportunities, supporting renewals, and partnering on commercial negotiations.
  • Translate customer feedback into actionable insights for Product & Designs teams to help shape future platform capabilities.
  • Partner cross-functionally to deliver solutions that meet client needs.
  • Lead regular business reviews with customers, aligning on performance, outcomes, and long-term partnership strategy.
  • Help design and refine scalable account management processes as Bounce continues to grow.
