About The Position

As a Senior Enterprise Account Executive on our Partnerships Team, you will own the development and growth of accounts across our North America Digital Commerce segment. To drive success in this role, you will have experience successfully selling technology to global retailers, marketplaces, and e-commerce platforms. As the Senior Enterprise Account Executive, Digital Commerce, you will be a key figure in optimizing the sales strategy and deal execution—from research and lead generation through senior stakeholder engagement. Regular collaboration with Solution Engineering, BDRs, Field Marketing, and Executives will be key in ensuring sales targets are achieved.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Enterprise Sales experience selling into the SaaS, Payments, Fintech, E-commerce sectors.
  • Proven track record for meeting and exceeding sales targets and performance-driven KPIs.
  • Experience leading a group of internal and external stakeholders to close complex, enterprise-level deals.
  • Expertise in building and maintaining pipeline through proactive, hunter-style outreach.
  • Ability to manage fast-paced sales cycles while simultaneously navigating long-term strategic engagements.
  • First-class communication skills, with the ability to present, negotiate, and influence at the C-level.
  • Driven and energetic with strong business acumen.
  • A proactive bias for action and a relentless drive to achieve results.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a cross-functional team.
  • Appetite and enthusiasm for working as part of a collegial team that is not afraid of getting their hands dirty and supporting each other.
  • Agile mindset and a passion for working within high-growth technology companies and startups.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and close complex partnership deals with target Digital Commerce partners within the North American market.
  • Consult, educate, and position CG’s value proposition with prospective partners on Cover Genius’s embedded solutions, tech platform, and sales journey to generate interest and create a sense of urgency.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure pitches to prospective partners are delivered effectively, with clarity on the product solution and positioning.
  • Grow the Cover Genius brand within the Digital Commerce vertical through representation at industry events and broader networking.
  • Research and prospect strategically to build and qualify short-term and long-term pipeline by consistently delivering high-quality outreach using cold calls, email, LinkedIn, events, and referrals.
