As an Engineering Manager, Web at FlightAware you’ll provide leadership, technical guidance, and product vision to a team of web engineers and collaborate with cross-functional partners to design and develop services, products, and infrastructure used by thousands of customers each day. FlightAware’s product and service portfolio is expansive, and you will operate across FlightAware’s industry-leading website, paid aviation products, customer-facing APIs, integral systems like authentication, billing, and authorization, and more. In this role, you will lead, support, and inspire the engineers in your team. As a hands-on leader, you’ll help them fulfill technical, operational, and business requirements inside and outside of the code. You’ll work alongside senior engineers and partners across Product, Design, Sales, Marketing, and Engineering to guide architecture and delivery of major infrastructure and product improvements. The ideal candidate will be able to solve complex technical challenges while delivering incredible improvements to product reliability and quality.
