About The Position

As a Senior Engineering Leader within ThousandEyes, you will spearhead the growth and leadership of a high-performing team dedicated to powering account management platform capabilities. Your team will own and innovate key systems including user management, authorization, role-based access control (RBAC), auditing, trial lifecycle management, and essential internal tools that empower ThousandEyes personnel. In this pivotal role, you will drive major cross-functional initiatives that extend beyond ThousandEyes, influencing multiple Cisco business units and shaping the future of platform services at scale. Your leadership will be instrumental in delivering secure, scalable, and reliable platform solutions that underpin business success and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Developed a team of 4 - 8 engineers, and have 4+ years of software engineering management experience
  • Strong communicate needs with a diverse set of collaborators including technical and non-technical personnel
  • Provide deep technical vision for your team and ensure consistent delivery on objectives
  • Have experience formulating a team's technical strategy and roadmap; you've collaborated and partnered optimally with several other teams to complete shared goals
  • 5+ years hands on experience building enterprise software products, especially those that use distributed system architectures
