Requirements

  • Test Automation and Control Systems: Proficient in designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks, with expertise in PLC programming, ladder logic, LabVIEW, and industrial control protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP, EtherCAT, RS485) for efficient and precise system automation.
  • Advanced Problem Solving: Skilled in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues across software, hardware, and system integration layers, using innovative and analytical approaches for continuous improvement.
  • Hydraulic Systems and Test Stand Design: Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems (e.g., valves, actuators, pumps, circuits) and expertise in designing test stands that integrate hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems for optimal performance and scalability.
  • Sensor and Instrumentation Integration: Skilled in selecting, calibrating, and integrating sensors (e.g., LVDTs, RVDTs, pressure, flow, temperature sensors) for accurate data acquisition and real-time monitoring.
  • Data Acquisition and Analysis: Proficient in configuring DAQ systems and analyzing test data using MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW, and Excel to identify trends, anomalies, and optimize testing strategies.
  • Technical Expertise and Electrical Systems: In-depth knowledge of testing tools, methodologies, and electrical systems, including circuit design, closed-loop amplifier design, PCB layout, and use of test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
  • Project Leadership and Collaboration: Experienced in leading testing projects from planning to execution, ensuring quality standards while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams and departments.
  • Effective Communication: Strong ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to diverse stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding.
  • Standards and Compliance: Knowledgeable in industry best practices and standards (e.g., ISO 4413, SAE, CE) for testing, hydraulic, and electrical systems to ensure optimized and compliant processes.
  • Troubleshooting and Optimization: Expertise in diagnosing and resolving issues, performing root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvements in system design, reliability, and efficiency.

  • This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).   • Mentor Engineering Team: Provides guidance and support to junior engineers, promoting best practices in testing and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Works with internal and external partners to define testing requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
