About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for engineering the future of electronics, from initial concept design and lifecycle support to critical upgrades for next-generation systems. You will work directly enables increased production capacity by developing essential production and specialized test equipment.

Requirements

10+ years of experience setting up equipment and performing tests on various products and assemblies using manual or automated test devices.
Hands-on lab experience with power or analog electronics testing or test methodology.
Ability to travel up to 20% domestically.
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

Subject Matter Expert in electrical design with proven previous test equipment design experience.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering or computer engineering.
Experience with National Instrument’s Lab-View and Test-Stand software.
Experience utilizing lab electronic testing tools like Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeters (DMM), Function Generators and Power Supplies.

Responsibilities

Develop, document, and maintain electronic and electrical system requirements according to customer desires and contract requirements.
Create and implement overall Test Equipment Design strategies.
Review and apply real-time test anomaly troubleshooting and resolution of issues encountered during hardware validation and verification testing.
Perform Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations, troubleshooting, and resolutions.
Support design of automated test equipment, development of engineering documentation, and hardware fabrication, integration, and validation testing.
Support production and special test equipment design, ensuring we meet increasing capacity demands and drive innovation in electronics.
