About The Position

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with specialized expertise in water and wastewater facilities to join our expanding national Water Infrastructure Design Services group. In this role, you'll tackle some of the most complex and high-profile projects in the Northeast, while also having opportunities to contribute to initiatives across the country and around the globe. As the technical authority, you'll guide electrical designs from initial concept and budgeting through detailed design, construction, and commissioning—ensuring infrastructure that delivers safe, reliable water to millions. Your expertise will span everything from substations and power distribution systems to advanced instrumentation, directly influencing the sustainability and resilience of the communities we serve. More than just a design position, this is your opportunity to lead transformative projects, collaborate with high-profile clients such as the NYC Department of Environmental Protection (NYC DEP), and help define the future of electrical engineering in the water sector. Whether your goal is to advance as a Principal Engineer or step into a Northeast or National Electrical Group Lead role, Arcadis will provide the platform, resources, and mentorship to help you achieve it.
