About The Position

Oribe Hair Care has set the standard for professional hair care within the prestige market. These are the products of the hair‐obsessed. The role: You are responsible for leading the Oribe local US education team and driving educational initiatives within the US market. You will contribute to and execute a comprehensive education strategy that aligns with our global brand vision, enhances our market presence and reinforces the Oribe Brand Community. This includes support for the building of educational capabilities for Country Delivery teams, infusing the Oribe Heritage, hospitality, quality, and DNA. It also includes managing and localizing the content of education materials developed by Oribe Design. Additionally, it involves helping define and commercialize the product launch and re-promote plans in the context of education, including artists and educators. You will have deep industry knowledge, exceptional communication skills, and an ability to inspire and train diverse audiences. You will collaborate with Oribe teams and local leaders of the Portfolio brands and Regional Shows and Events. It will report to the lead of US Education. Requirements

  • 8+ years' experience in the Professional Beauty industry required.
  • Luxury, Professional Health and Beauty or Relevant Related Experience required.
  • Experience in event management and execution required.
  • Experience in planning Events/Shows/Programs and managing artists.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and Execution of Events and Training: ensure that training programs, workshops, and events resonate with our US customer base and sales teams and represent the Oribe brand
  • Team Development: Manage, hire, deploy and develop a local Artist Team and support the deployment of the Global Artist team.
  • Efficient Systems: Support oversight and compliance to drive the organization to standardize and manage better data collection, through such things as centralized seminar booking and administration.
