About The Position

The Senior District Manager will oversee all aspects of facilities operations for a large, multi‑site environment, supporting a diverse portfolio of buildings. This role ensures safe, compliant, well‑maintained environments through strong operational leadership, proactive maintenance management, and consistent service delivery. The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical expertise, client service excellence, and multi‑site operational oversight, with the ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and execute facilities programs across a complex, high‑demand setting. Success in this role requires strategic planning, hands-on leadership, and a commitment to providing an exceptional facilities experience for a variety of stakeholders. Compensation: $165,000.00 - $180,000.00 annual salary (US Dollars) The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and supervisory experience in integrated facilities management, building operations, or public-sector facilities oversight; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety systems, and general building maintenance.
  • Experience supporting custodial operations and multi-site facility service delivery.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance management principles, scheduling, and operational budgeting.
  • Familiarity with OSHA requirements, chemical handling protocols, and safety program implementation.
  • Excellent communication skills for interaction with leadership, stakeholders, and facility teams.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Experience with CMMS platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate all integrated facilities services across a multi‑building portfolio, ensuring service delivery meets contractual obligations, compliance standards, and operational targets.
  • Maintain strong communication with multi-level stakeholders to address evolving needs, resolve issues, and support overall mission standards.
  • Implement preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs, utilizing CMMS tools to track work orders, reduce deferred maintenance, and improve asset performance.
  • Oversee custodial, maintenance, grounds, and seasonal operations to ensure cleanliness, safety, and readiness of facilities.
  • Ensure adherence to safety programs, environmental standards, and regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, and local/state facility regulations.
  • Develop, lead, and coach a team of supervisors, leads, and frontline technicians; foster accountability, performance excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor operational budgets, implement cost‑control strategies, and manage vendor relationships to support efficient facility operations.
  • Support emergency response, incident management, and coordination during operational disruptions.
  • Assist with seasonal and special-event operational needs such as deep cleaning, winter readiness, and other initiatives.
