About The Position

THE ROLE We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director, Strategic Marketing to join our Solutions Marketing team, focusing on the Materials Solutions Division. In this role, you will lead strategic marketing activities to support our Division/Business Units and Sales functions. Your expertise will drive our market strategy and activities aimed at growth and market leadership in the semiconductor industry. This position will be strategically located at our Aurora, IL facility.

Requirements

  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and extensive experience working in fabs, original equipment manufacturers, or at Tier-1 suppliers.
  • Professional Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience with proven track record in technical marketing, strategic marketing, market research, application, or product management.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical ability and strategic thinking skills to drive market strategies.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Entegris Products: Familiarity with Entegris products, customers, and/or suppliers.
  • MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, customer roadmaps, and competitive landscape related to deposition, etch, clean, chemical mechanical planarization (CMP), gas, and other products.
  • Identify key market opportunities and recommend Entegris strategy to address each of those opportunities through thorough market research, deep dive of customer voices, SWOT analysis, and prioritization process.
  • Work with division and corporate business development team s to explore the best business approaches for each product line, including making it ourselves, licensing, outsourcing, joint-venture, M&A, start-up investment and other possibilities.
  • Develop robust market strategies, defining market segments and product targets, serviceable/total addressable market (SAM/TAM), supporting total cost of ownership (TCO) model, POR mapping, market share, and Mekko charts.
  • Provide critical inputs to key product functions including strategic pricing, targeted customers, and go-to-market strategies (OEM vs. End-user).
  • Support the development of compelling market messages, case studies, and white papers.
  • Attend relevant industry conferences to build and maintain a strong professional network.
