Oversees the operational performance, strategic planning, relationships and growth initiatives to support service line and system-wide priorities including inpatient, perioperative, ambulatory, and diagnostics as applicable. Accountable for assessment, implementation, and evaluation of patient care and ensuring that quality care is provided to patients in accordance with organizational, professional and regulatory standards. Provides leadership and participates in continuous performance improvement activities throughout span of control and develops and ensures compliance with clinical standards and staff competency. Ensures sustained improvements in: quality and safety, people and culture, patient experience, health equity and anti-racism, operational excellence, strategic growth and discovery. Strategizes and collaborates with physician leaders, service line leaders, and site of care leaders to develop, implement and operationalize initiatives intended to achieve desired outcomes. This role will be overseeing the following service lines: Fetal Medicine Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine Ophthalmology Bioethics & Palliative Care Emergency Medicine Critical Care Hospital Medicine, Neonatology & Regional Partnerships
