About The Position

As a Senior Director of Channel Retail Reseller Partnerships, you’ll lead a high-priority, company-wide initiative focused on expanding Wix’s Unified Commerce through strategic partnerships in the Retail, Wellness, and Beauty sectors. You’ll architect high-level partnerships with national retail giants to introduce Wix’s POS systems to their shelves, empowering them to resell our hardware and software to their SMB customer bases. In this role, you’ll: Lead high-level negotiations with national big-box retailers to secure shelf presence and distribution for Wix POS hardware Own the end-to-end retail reseller channel strategy, from partner targeting and commercial structuring through in-store rollout and GPV performance Navigate the financial nuances of retail distribution, including upfront SKU fees and multi-year revenue share models Build and manage a portfolio of partnerships generating significant Gross Payment Volume (GPV) in the tens of millions ($10M - $50M+) Travel 40%–50% of the time to partner headquarters and regional hubs to ensure retail readiness and team training Collaborate with the Channels team to align on payment and finance strategies while reporting progress directly to senior leadership This is a fully remote position, and candidates on the East Coast are preferred.

Requirements

  • Over 10 years of experience in strategic channel partnerships, retail distribution, or enterprise-grade payments partnerships
  • Proven experience selling into national retail chains (e.g., Staples, Office Depot) with a deep understanding of their operations
  • Strong understanding of GPV, revenue share, and integrated payments, as well as the backend of POS transactions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage long sales cycles and high-stakes negotiations with C-suite executives
  • Experience in companies like Square, Clover (Fiserv), Global Payments, Adyen, Stripe, or Chase Payment Tech
