Requirements

  • Master's or equivalent in Engineering (any field), Marketing, Business, or a closely related field, and 5 years of experience in the job offered, project management, or in IT delivery framework, or related.
  • Alternatively, we will accept a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the above-stated fields, plus 8 years of progressively responsible experience in the above-stated occupations.
  • Additionally, all candidates must have at least 1 year of product marketing experience, including marketing of enterprise SaaS services.
  • Must also have experience with Salesforce.
  • A comprehensive background check is required for this role, including education verification, prior employment history, and criminal records.
  • Position is based out of 1 Commvault Way, Tinton Falls, NJ 07724 and may require relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the United States.
  • Travel up to 25% will be required to Commvault offices in the US or internationally to support global go-to-market strategies, partner enablement, and cross-functional collaboration across regions based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Set the business agenda for the fiscal year, including marketing and channel plans to exceed growth and revenue expectations.
  • Being the market expert on target markets, audience, and competition.
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Commvault’s solutions.
  • Position Commvault’s solutions to meet key buyer needs in targeted market segments and vertical markets.
  • Understand the buyer selection/decision criteria and preferences via persona-driven methodologies.
  • Articulate the value proposition and develop creative, compelling sales tools for the sales organization to leverage the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with product management, direct sales, channel sales, marcom, PR, and services to define and execute a go-to-market strategy for enabling the mobile workforce with Commvault solutions.
  • Plan and manage the launch of new products and releases.
  • Develop marketing tools for partners: Develop collateral for thought leadership campaigns with/by partners.
  • Support Commvault and partner sales messaging activities and enable partner lead generation.
  • Design and implement innovative, creative marketing programs across multiple channels, including social media, SEO, SEM, web, and email marketing.
  • Evangelize Commvault’s solutions with the sales team, partners, prospects, press, and analysts.
  • Measure, monitor, and publish metrics on customer usage and market penetration.
