About The Position

As a Senior Director, People Business Partner at Fanatics Betting & Gaming (FBG), you will play a critical role on our growing People team, partnering closely with the business to drive organizational effectiveness and enable FBG's continued growth. This role operates at both a strategic and hands-on level, shaping people strategy while delivering practical, high-impact solutions in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The ideal candidate brings innovative ideas, strong business acumen, and a passion for building an exceptional workplace and culture. You will partner directly with FBG's G&A Leadership team, serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and helping to build a high-performing, engaged organization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of strategic HR or People Business Partner experience.
  • Prior experience managing and developing high-performing People Business Partner teams.
  • Experience thriving in fast-paced, high-growth environments; technology or similar industries preferred.
  • Proven experience supporting C-suite executives, with the ability to coach and influence leaders at all levels.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Strong strategic thinker and creative problem solver who takes ownership and executes with precision.
  • Broad and deep experience in global HR strategy and employment law.
  • Open to regular travel to events and other Fanatics offices for various offsite and team meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead People Business Partner for FBG's G&A functions, including Finance, Operations, Marketing, Headquarters, CBO, People, and VIP.
  • Lead, contribute to, and independently execute cross-functional, high-impact, and forward-looking strategic initiatives.
  • Provide input on company-level goals and develop policies and standards that guide teams, leaders, and the broader organization.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite and senior leaders, consulting on best practices and driving change from the top down.
  • Coach and empower leaders to strengthen people management capabilities and foster a culture of continuous development.
  • Proactively identify leadership and team gaps, recommending or creating resources to address current and future needs.
  • Lead and develop a team of People Business Partners and generalists, providing guidance and performance management to ensure strong partnerships across the business.
  • Leverage data and analytics to derive insights and drive informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Continuously share best practices, provide constructive feedback, and close gaps to enable efficient execution of initiatives.
