About The Position

This is a hands-on accounting leadership role for someone who likes being involved, and not just behind a desk. You’ll manage site-level accounting and a small team, partner closely with Operations, and spend time on the plant floor identifying opportunities to improve processes and control costs. You’ll lead a small accounting team with varying experience levels and working styles, so strong communication and people-management skills are essential.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent certification (CPA, CMA).
5+ years of accounting experience, including supervisory or people-management experience.
Comfortable working cross-functionally and communicating with all levels of the organization.
Practical, curious, and willing to dig in to understand how things really work.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting for one or more locations, including monthly close and financial reporting.
Prepare and review P&L statements, balance sheets, variances, and projections.
Partner with Operations to support budgeting, cost control, and operational decision-making.
Engage with teams across departments and spend time on the floor understanding how the business runs.
Identify and implement process improvements that support efficiency and accuracy.
Support audits, inventory processes, and compliance requirements.
Lead, coach, and develop a small accounting team.
