About The Position

The Senior Director RTSM Business Development is responsible for driving revenue growth within the clinical supply chain market. This role focuses on expanding Signant Health’s services and technology solutions across pharmaceutical and clinical research organizations. As an individual contributor, you will execute strategic sales initiatives, manage complex sales cycles, and build strong customer partnerships across your assigned territory or accounts. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client needs and achieve annual revenue targets.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in business-to-business sales, including selling RTSM to organizations
  • Strong knowledge of clinical supply chain management and SaaS solutions within the pharmaceutical or clinical research industry
  • Experience developing proposals and participating in competitive bid processes
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute territory sales plans
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple organizational levels
  • Experience managing complex sales pipelines and delivering accurate forecasts
  • Results-driven mindset with strong business acumen and analytical capabilities
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and matrix environments

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Experience selling SaaS technology solutions to pharmaceutical companies or CROs
  • Experience working within a matrix organization
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com or similar CRM platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Execute territory and account-based sales strategies within the clinical supply chain and SaaS technology sectors
  • Develop and implement account-specific sales plans aligned with annual revenue targets
  • Manage full sales cycles, serving as the primary customer contact for RTSM
  • Partner with internal teams (Solutions Architects, Proposals, Technical Solutions, BD Operations, and Operations) to develop compelling client proposals
  • Build and expand relationships with key customer stakeholders to drive long-term growth
  • Maintain and manage a robust sales pipeline, providing accurate forecasting and reporting
  • Participate in industry events and commercial activities to enhance brand visibility and generate new leads
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment on customer initiatives and strategic opportunities
  • Contribute to team objectives while meeting or exceeding individual sales targets
  • Support additional commercial initiatives as required
