The Office of Innovation & Technology (OIT) is the central IT agency for the City of Philadelphia and is led by the Chief Information Officer (CIO). OIT oversees all major information and communications technology initiatives for the City, aiming to increase the effectiveness of the IT infrastructure and make services advanced, optimized, and responsive to the needs of residents, businesses, and visitors. OIT's responsibilities include: Identifying the most effective approaches for new IT directions throughout the city government. Improving the value of the city's technology assets and the return on technology investments. Ensuring data security continuity. Ensure reliability and availability of City systems and services. Planning for continued operations in case of IT or communications service disruptions. Supporting accountable, efficient, and effective government across all city departments, boards, commissions, and agencies. The Senior Director of Infrastructure reports to the Chief Technology Officer and is responsible for leading the enterprise and solution architecture functions. This role ensures that architectural roadmaps align with business strategies and enterprise transformation activities. The Senior Director manages a team of enterprise and solution architects and works with senior leadership to develop and execute organizational strategy, support enterprise change, and optimize technology investments.
