The Role We’re looking for a Senior Director of New Business & Sales to lead and accelerate agency growth. This role is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities while shaping how we position, pitch, and win in the market. You’re not just a seller—you’re a strategic partner who understands marketing, builds relationships at the C-suite level, and knows how to turn opportunities into long-term client partnerships.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years in business development, sales, or growth roles within a marketing, advertising, or creative agency
  • Proven track record of closing mid- to large-scale deals ($100K–$1M+)
  • Deep understanding of modern marketing (social, digital, influencer/creator, paid media)
  • Strong network of brand-side decision-makers (CMOs, VPs, Directors)
  • Exceptional storytelling and pitch skills
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically—building pipeline while closing deals
  • High ownership mindset with a bias for action

Responsibilities

  • Drive Revenue Growth
  • Own and execute the agency’s new business strategy
  • Build and manage a high-quality pipeline across target industries
  • Lead outreach, prospecting, and relationship development
  • Close High-Value Deals
  • Lead pitch development from insight to presentation
  • Partner with strategy and creative teams to craft winning proposals
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals aligned with agency goals
  • Build Strategic Relationships
  • Develop relationships with senior marketing leaders and decision-makers
  • Represent the agency at industry events, conferences, and key meetings
  • Turn new clients into long-term, high-value partnerships
  • Shape the Agency’s Go-To-Market
  • Refine positioning, messaging, and sales materials
  • Identify new verticals, services, and growth opportunities
  • Bring market insights back into the agency to inform offerings
  • Collaborate Across Teams
  • Work closely with leadership, strategy, and account teams to ensure smooth onboarding and growth
  • Help define what “great clients” look like and prioritize accordingly
