Reporting to the Chief Development Officer (CDO), and in close partnership with the leadership of The Clinton Global Initiative (CGI), this role will provide both the strategic leadership and tactical management necessary to effectively execute a high-performing giving program for The Clinton Foundation, specifically focused on institutional revenue. This includes oversight of all CGI revenue and creating a robust pipeline of institutional support. The Managing Director will manage a portfolio of funders and prospects, as well as work in close partnership with the executive team. The Development team works to secure the philanthropic resources necessary to advance the Foundation’s mission through its programs and operations, collaborating with volunteers and colleagues to present the Foundation’s case for support through gifts, grants, and sponsorships, and to maximize engagement and giving from individual donors and institutional funders alike. The Clinton Foundation, established by President Clinton, operates on the belief that everyone deserves a chance to succeed, everyone has a responsibility to act, and we all do better when we work together. For nearly two decades, the Foundation has worked to overcome complex challenges and improve lives globally, focusing on creating economic opportunity, improving public health, and inspiring civic engagement and service. Its programs aim to achieve better results faster at the lowest possible cost, leveraging diverse groups and resources for transformative action.
