What you can expect as an Institutional Giving Associate As we charge toward our 2029 bicentennial, we are embarking on an ambitious growth phase to double our impact. We are seeking a highly organized, "systems-first" Institutional Giving Associate to provide the operational backbone for our corporate, foundation, and government fundraising efforts. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a nonprofit development or professional administrative setting.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information and manage complex administrative tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and experience with Salesforce (or a similar CRM) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Draft initial versions of Letters of Inquiry (LOIs), grant renewals, and corporate sponsorship outreach.
  • Coordinate high-quality proposal attachments, including budgets and program documentation.
  • Own the institutional giving calendar. You will be the guardian of all deadlines for outreach, proposals, and reporting to ensure we never miss an opportunity.
  • Serve as the lead for entering institutional donor data into Salesforce, ensuring every interaction, deadline, and grant stage is recorded with precision.
  • Monitor grant agreements to ensure all deliverables are met across internal departments.
  • Coordinate the stewardship process, ensuring funders receive timely acknowledgments and impact updates.
  • Partner with program staff to gather the data and stories needed for accurate, compelling reporting.
