About The Position

Leidos National Security Sector is seeking an experienced leader to serve as the Sr Director of Growth and Strategy for our NGA and NRO opportunities for our Decision Advantage Solutions (DAS) business area. The selected individual will report to the Senior Vice President of Growth to lead and manage a geographically dispersed workforce supporting the mission of the team. DAS supports mission software, multi-domain operations, intelligence analysis and production, and tech enabled services across Defense, Space, and Intelligence Community mission. The Growth function is integral to Leidos’ success. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration or STEM related field)
• 15+ years related Growth experience including leading business development teams
• Experience with Intelligence Community mission, budgets and acquisition processes
• Proven experience in developing and growing a large portfolio >$600M, with positive book-to-bill (>1) and sustained year over year growth
• Expert experience developing and/or executing contract acquisition strategies with federal/defense requirements/PM communities and conducting associated procurements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and successfully manage multiple priorities
• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead large and diverse teams while growing and developing people
• Demonstrated ability to attract and retain top talent
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
• Ability to create, establish mutually beneficial relationships internal and external to Leidos
• Proficient in Excel/Word/PowerPoint
• Must have a current T S/SCI clearance

Nice To Haves

• Master’s Degree (Business Administration or STEM related field)
• Previous experience with SAP/SAR programs
• Ability to gain internal support, operate independently with limited supervision and feedback, and establish a solid working relationship with senior management, technical staff, division managers, and peers in the Group and across Leidos

Responsibilities

• The Sr Director of Growth will lead a team of Account Managers, and Business Development professionals and is responsible for developing and establishing relationships between the customers, strategic partners and across the entire company.
• Duties include identifying, developing, and implementing near-term and long-term business strategies that drive revenue growth and margin expansion for the company.
• The individual will lead a team that prepares and submits proposals in pursuit of business in the US and International Defense marketplace.
• This position requires a deep understanding of the customers across all Intelligence and Defense services from an operations and acquisitions standpoint.
• The individual may have other business development activities, such as investigating and evaluating potential mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, geographic expansions, licensing, partnerships, joint ventures, new business/market opportunities and sustainability to determine if such activities are in line with the organization's overall strategy and vision.
• The individual is also responsible for the allocation of apportioned resources between existing and new businesses and continuously monitors the market to keep track of competitor developments and their impact on market share.
