About The Position

We are recruiting the best talent for our Senior Director, Finance Technology Solutions to be based in New Brunswick, NJ. The Sr. Director, FinTech Solutions leader is responsible for overseeing enterprise-wide transformation initiatives within the Orthopaedics Organization, aligning them with the company's broader strategic objectives. This position manages innovation efforts, process updates, and the integration of digital tools across all Finance functions and business units. This role spearheads the company’s financial systems and digital capabilities to achieve a competitive edge. The role ensures robust governance frameworks and seamless financial connectivity, positioning the organization at the forefront of operational excellence. The role oversees the ERP, FP&A, Reporting & Analytics and Consolidations financial processes. The ERP function will include developing the requirements for the various SAP financial modules. The Sr. Director, FinTech manages the deployment of the technology solutions in partnership with the IT Organization. This role leads the change management team to foster a culture of innovation. This role reports to the Orthopaedics Chief Accounting Office. Externally this role works closely with external auditors to adjust the audit program based on the process and technology changes supporting the financial reporting to the SEC, the annual financial report, and to the external investor/market community. Partner with senior leaders across functions – including IT, Supply Chain, Commercial and R&D to design and deploy integrated, scalable digital solutions.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or IT is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Leadership experience leading large-scale, global, transformation initiatives within global Finance, Strategy, or Technology required.
  • Deep expertise in in SAP, AI, machine learning and data analytics required.
  • Proven success in executing cross-functional, enterprise projects impacting multiple businesses and geography required.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with a track record of successful collaboration required.
  • Expertise in change management, organizational design required.
  • Experience working in highly regulated environments with a focus on compliance, regulatory standards, and data security and privacy laws is required.
  • Strategic vision paired with practical execution skills and strong business insights required.
  • Engaged in external committees, organizations and thought leaders to stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in financial systems required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead governance & approval of all Finance technology systems centrally, including business unit & corporate functions finance technology.
  • Leading the governance process and updates for all technology transformation programs (including sector Supply Chain, Procurement, Financial Transactions. Governance includes monthly meetings with the Chief Accounting Officer and business unit leaders, as necessary.
  • Leads change management efforts through stakeholder engagement, training and communication to facilitate widespread adoption.
  • Promotes a culture of continuous innovation and organizational agility.
  • Stay abreast of emerging industry trends, technologies, and best practices, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of digital innovation.
  • Budget responsibility for all financial systems and technology initiatives.

Benefits

  • This position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.
