Senior Director - Data Acquisition and Partnerships, USIS The USIS Data & Analytics organization at Equifax seeks a Sr. Director of Data Acquisition and Partnership. This is a highly strategic position, concentrating on the business drivers and the tangible value derived from our data assets. What you'll do Strategic Data Portfolio Leadership Develop and implement the USIS Data Acquisition strategy, ensuring alignment with USIS business priorities and the overall Data vision. Manage the data assets pipeline, prioritizing based on quantifiable value, competitive advantage, and net new incremental P&L impact. Maintain a portfolio that demonstrates a deep understanding of emerging data categories essential for Equifax's growth across diverse verticals. Build, communicate, and maintain a multi-year data assets roadmap (covering both existing and new assets) that strategically balances cost discipline with the pursuit of competitive advantage. Incorporate data risk, compliance, and regulatory environment considerations into the evaluation and prioritization process for all data assets. ROI Ownership and Value Realization External Data Identification & Analysis: Proactively research and monitor the external data landscape, including vendors, regulatory shifts, and competitor activity, to identify potential new external data sources. Conduct thorough assessments of these sources and communicate the findings and benefits internally. Business Model Alignment: Define and implement the optimal business models required to translate the value of new data assets into specific, measurable downstream business outcomes. Monetization and Compliance: Discover and pursue new data monetization opportunities. Collaborate with vendors to ensure all data assets adhere to Equifax's internal requirements and industry compliance standards. Data Partnership & Vendor Management Develop and maintain robust working relationships with data furnishers and industry partners to cultivate trust and ensure successful ongoing partnerships. Strategically negotiate contracts, prioritizing a balance between cost-effectiveness and long-term value while maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of the data. Uphold Equifax Compliance standards by ensuring all vendors consistently meet stringent data quality and reliability requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the onboarding process to facilitate the continuous growth and expansion of our data partnerships. Cross Functional Influence and Relationship Create an operating model to efficiently and effectively manage a company’s data assets while meeting regulatory and legal obligations and share data quality results, issues, and opportunities with furnishers.Collaborate with data product owners to create a unified data acquisition strategy that supports the USIS Business Unit roadmap. Establish data management policies and procedures, enforce compliance controls, and manage data maintenance across web channels. Design an operating model for the efficient and effective management of the company's data assets, meeting all regulatory and legal requirements, and communicating data quality results, issues, and opportunities.
