About The Position

This role offers a high-impact opportunity to lead business development initiatives in the healthcare IT space, focusing on strategic partnerships with EHRs, clinical IT vendors, and resellers. You will act as both a player and coach, driving revenue growth and end-user adoption while managing a high-performing BD team. The position involves solution-selling complex software products that integrate into client workflows, requiring consultative sales skills across business, technical, and operational leaders. You will analyze market opportunities, develop strategies for expansion, and negotiate high-value contracts that accelerate market penetration. This is a fully remote role with occasional travel, ideal for an experienced sales leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of sales experience in healthcare IT, including EHR, clinical HIT, and reseller channels.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding individual and team revenue goals in high-growth environments.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare SaaS solutions, EHR workflows, and vendor ecosystems.
  • Expertise in solution selling of complex software products and services.
  • Experience managing and scaling reseller or B2B sales channels.
  • Strong financial acumen, including developing business plans, pricing strategies, and fiscal budgets.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for executive-level engagement.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work remotely and manage priorities independently, with occasional travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute business development strategies to secure new contracts with strategic EHR, healthcare IT vendors, and reseller partners.
  • Drive revenue growth and end-user adoption for innovative healthcare IT solutions.
  • Manage and mentor a business development team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance oversight.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across product, marketing, finance, and operations to develop competitive go-to-market strategies.
  • Analyze market opportunities and develop plans for entry into new or expanded segments.
  • Negotiate complex contracts and business terms to maximize value and accelerate time-to-market.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to partners and internal teams, solving complex challenges and providing strategic guidance.
