About The Position

As the Senior Director, Advertiser Solutions, you will be responsible for setting and executing the overarching strategy that drives growth across PubMatic’s global agency or brand partnerships. This leadership role involves shaping market-leading sales strategies, overseeing large-scale global teams, and working closely with executive leadership to influence key business decisions. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring PubMatic’s leadership in the programmatic space, guiding long-term growth, and positioning the company as a leader in the evolving digital advertising landscape.

Requirements

  • Proven Executive Leader: Twelve plus years of experience in sales leadership or business development within AdTech, Publishers, DSPs, SSPs, or similar industries, with a focus on agencies and brand partnerships.
  • Global Market Expert: Extensive experience in managing and growing global, high-value advertiser relationships across agencies, holding companies, and brands.
  • Strategic Visionary: Ability to set and execute large-scale strategies that drive growth and impact, with a deep understanding of programmatic advertising ecosystem.
  • Expert Negotiator & Deal Maker: Proven ability to lead complex negotiations and close multi-million-dollar deals while maintaining long-term client relationships.
  • Strong Cross-Functional Collaborator: Skilled in aligning internal teams, including Product, R&D, Sales, and Marketing, to create innovative solutions and drive client success.
  • Thought Leader & Industry Expert: Known for thought leadership in the digital advertising space, capable of representing PubMatic at the executive and C-suite level and influencing key decision-makers.
  • Data-Driven & Analytical: A strong ability to analyze market data, trends, and performance metrics to guide strategic decisions and refine business objectives.
  • Leader & Mentor: Able to inspire, develop, and scale global sales teams, fostering a high-performance culture that delivers exceptional results.

Responsibilities

  • Set and execute global sales strategy, driving significant revenue growth across PubMatic’s agency and brand partnerships worldwide.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performance sales team, ensuring the alignment of regional and global sales efforts and enabling them to exceed revenue and growth targets.
  • Drive deep, long-term relationships with top-tier agencies, holding companies, and brand advertisers, serving as a strategic partner and trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to shape PubMatic’s overall go-to-market strategy and ensure that advertiser solutions are aligned with broader business goals.
  • Represent PubMatic at the highest levels in industry events, C-suite discussions, and client meetings, advancing the company’s thought leadership in programmatic advertising.
  • Identify and pursue new growth opportunities within the advertising landscape, including emerging ad formats and technologies, ensuring PubMatic remains at the forefront of innovation.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and high performance, leading cross-functional teams (Product, Ad Solutions, Technical Operations, Publisher Sales) to deliver exceptional solutions to clients.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape, ensuring PubMatic remains adaptable and proactive in responding to shifts in the programmatic advertising market.
