About The Position

At The Hand and The Eye, we believe great design tells a story you can feel. We’re looking for a talented Senior Designer who can bring energy, imagination, and clarity to culinary-focused marketing for Higher Ed institutions.
You’ll collaborate with a creative, passionate team to design work that’s bold, playful, and purposeful. From multi-page proposals to menus and signage, your visuals will help win new clients and deepen existing relationships.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a design firm or creative team
• Degree in Graphic Design or related field (Associate required, Bachelor’s preferred)
• Expert-level skills in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Mac OS
• Strong typography, branding, print, and layout skills
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management
• Calm confidence under pressure and a sharp eye for detail

Nice To Haves

• Video editing experience is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Create visually striking designs that bring our brand and client stories to life
• Design proposals, presentations, and marketing materials from concept to final production
• Support a wide range of projects including brochures, menus, signage, branding, packaging, and custom layouts
• Develop strong visual storytelling for presentations and pitches
• Manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines without losing quality or magic
