About The Position

The Senior Designer is a high-energy, positive-minded professional with experience in luxury residential interior design and must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, client service driven environment on multiple projects.

Requirements

Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years residential interior design experience (luxury residential projects preferred, but not required), as dedicated designer on projects
Understand shop drawings from cabinet and millwork companies
Understand architectural drawings
Working knowledge of construction techniques and related coordinating details and dimensions
Follow budget standards and properly track and manage time
Adhere to company standards and be open to learning and receiving feedback
Dynamic presentation and public speaking skills
Thrive in a fast-paced team environment where forward-thinking and communication is key
High attention to detail

Responsibilities

Work closely with clients and firm President to create and execute a comprehensive interior design vision for each project
Develop project-specific interior architectural designs and interior design concepts for ceilings, millwork, tile layout, flooring patterns, in collaboration with interior detailer
Make background selections for projects
Make furniture selections for projects
Maintain/organize project files, schedules, and specifications
Manage project timelines and meet specific deadlines for multiple projects, simultaneously
Manage and mentor a dedicated design assistant
Conduct site visits when necessary and assist in construction supervision
