About The Position

Nuuly is looking for a Senior Design Manager. The Senior Design Manager is a hands-on role for a versatile and experienced graphic designer with experience managing multiple reports in a fast-paced environment. This individual will oversee the creation and execution of designed content across multiple marketing channels. This role requires collaborating and communicating with partners across the marketing and creative organization to ensure the timely delivery of compelling work.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience designing in fast-paced creative environments with at least 3 years of management experience.
  • Fluency in industry-standard software—Figma and Adobe Suite.
  • Expert knowledge of graphic design and familiarity with motion design/animation.
  • Creative portfolio showcasing latest and most relevant work.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proven time and task management capabilities.
  • Experience with establishing and implementing workflows and processes.
  • Advanced understanding of design production across multiple marketing channels.
  • Basic understanding of web technologies and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design of assets for all digital marketing channels: email, site, app, and paid marketing, ensuring visual cohesion across all channels.
  • Facilitate the concept and execution of seasonal campaigns, brand partnerships, branded events, promotions, etc.
  • Mentor and manage a small team of designers and freelance resources.
  • Work collaboratively with other senior creatives, marketing, and project management to establish timelines and allocate resources.
  • Evolve and maintain brand standards in the design space, owning and maintaining style guides and design resources.
  • Work to document and improve internal processes for optimal efficiency and clarity.
  • Ensure all deliverables are optimized for end-use and delivered according to specifications and project requirements.
  • Identify new opportunities to elevate our brand in the digital and physical space, staying up to date on design trends, best practices, and basic UX principles.
