Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • EI required; PE in progress or obtained strongly preferred
  • 6–10 years of land development design experience
  • Strong proficiency in Civil 3D
  • Working knowledge of local agency submittal and approval processes
  • Experience coordinating across disciplines
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead technical tasks
  • Strong ownership mindset and accountability
  • Colorado project experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Complex site grading and drainage design
  • Utility system layout and coordination
  • Stormwater management reports and water quality design
  • Construction plan production and agency submittals
  • Residential subdivisions and commercial developments
  • Multidisciplinary coordination with survey, landscape, and architectural teams
  • Perform advanced engineering calculations with minimal oversight
  • Lead preparation and review of Civil 3D construction documents
  • Oversee grading models, surface design, and utility networks
  • Prepare and QA/QC drainage reports and stormwater plans
  • Coordinate directly with local agencies to secure approvals
  • Support construction administration, including review of pay applications and change orders
  • Review plans for compliance with jurisdictional and company standards
  • Mentor junior engineers and elevate overall technical quality
  • Contribute to schedule and budget performance
