We are seeking a Senior Ecommerce Data Analyst with a deep understanding of the fashion and apparel industry and mastery of data science methodologies. This role will leverage data to generate actionable insights that inform strategic decisions and drive e-commerce performance.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years as a Data Analyst with proven e-commerce expertise (fashion/apparel industry experience preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Tableau and Excel.
  • Strong Python skills for statistical programming and analysis.
  • Proficiency in SQL and database management.
  • AWS and Athena experience.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Looker (Data Studio), AI, and other BI tools.
  • Expertise in Digital Marketing Analytics: understanding of paid media, email, SEO, and web traffic data to link marketing performance to e-commerce KPIs.
  • KPI Development: ability to define and measure key metrics such as CAC, CLV, AOV, ROAS, and conversion rates.
  • Customer Journey Analytics: experience analyzing funnels, conversion rates, and lifecycle value.
  • Forecasting & Predictive Modeling: exposure to regression, time-series, and predictive analytics.
  • Data Science Methodologies: skilled in data collection (including e-commerce APIs), cleaning, standardization, statistical analysis, and data mining for actionable insights.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication; able to translate complex data for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Mindset: self-starter, curious, detail-oriented, and strong problem solver.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Shopify and Full Circle (preferred).
  • Knowledge of data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) and ETL processes (Airflow, dbt) (preferred).
  • Additional preferred strengths include advanced AI & machine learning interpretation for strategic insights and cross-departmental reporting (Finance, Operations, Logistics, Wholesale, Buying, and Planning).

Responsibilities

  • DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN ANALYTICAL REPORTS TO GUIDE E-COMMERCE STRATEGIES.
  • AUTOMATE AND STREAMLINE DATA WORKFLOWS FOR EFFICIENCY AND SCALABILITY.
  • ANALYZE DATA TO UNCOVER INSIGHTS IN CUSTOMER RETENTION, SEGMENTATION, AND PRODUCT RETURN RATES.
  • RECONCILE AND DISTRIBUTE WEEKLY/MONTHLY REPORTS ACROSS DEPARTMENTS.
  • MANAGE END-TO-END ANALYSIS: DATA EXTRACTION, CLEANING, MODELING, AND INTERPRETATION.
  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN INTUITIVE DASHBOARDS AND VISUALIZATIONS FOR STAKEHOLDERS.
  • COLLABORATE CROSS-FUNCTIONALLY TO ALIGN BUSINESS OBJECTIVES WITH DATA INSIGHTS.
  • STAY CURRENT WITH EMERGING TRENDS, TECHNOLOGIES, AND BEST PRACTICES IN DATA SCIENCE AND FASHION E-COMMERCE.
